A word from our leader:

As most everyone knows, the MCRC is still broke, or fashionably speaking, financially challenged. I wouldn’t say broke as a joke, as jokes do have a net worth.

Our 3rd quarter ended up with a whopping $179.12, down from an opening of $239.12. Without any contributions at all, the bank fees are really kicking our fiscal butt.

For the 4th quarter, sadly, we still didn’t gain any capital club members, but we were lucky to have received $1000 from a political PAC “leadership PAC for a better government”, from Phillipsburg, so that we could pay 695.00 payable to Dave Henderson, husband of the second vice chair, which leaves us with 424.12 ending the 2020 year as most probably the least capable GOP county org in NJ.

A special thanks to all of my supporters that came out to vote for my re election. I am sorry that not many of you may have recognized anyone that may have been actual committee members, as we forgot to invite most of them, wink wink.

Moving on past 2020…..a new year and perhaps a convention to make a few amendments.

There has been much consideration to delete some rhetorical clauses in the MCRC constitution.

Article I section 2. The purpose of the COMMITTEE is to nominate qualified candidates for all public offices, as well as promote the principals, establish the policy, direct the affairs and further the goals of the Republican Party and to insure decent and responsible government in our community and its municipalities.

We don’t care to nominate anyone to run for any elected office, for county or even help out municipal races, as we now do not have a single republican in office county wide. That stuff costs too much money, as if we had any so…..

We should delete “further the goals of the Republican Party and to insure decent and responsible government in our community and its municipalities.” And replace with “further the goals of the Chairperson”

Next is Article II Section 1. Membership Eligibility: All members of the COMMITTEE shall be registered Republican voters and shall not be, or declare themselves to be, members of any other political party, which actively supports candidates or principles contrary to the interests of the Mercer County Republican Party as established by the COMMITTEE.

Delete “All members of the COMMITTEE shall be registered Republican voters and shall not be, or declare themselves to be, members of any other political party, which actively supports candidates or principles contrary to the interests of the Mercer County Republican Party as established by the COMMITTEE”

Replace with “All members of the COMMITTEE shall not support candidates or principals contrary to the interests of the Chairperson.”

This should streamline any future proceedings if we should ever wish to actively campaign against a sitting Republican official, regardless be it a sitting mayor or otherwise, even contrary to any primary voting results made by the voting public, because that’s just plain silliness. Also, we would be free to bring aboard democrat operatives without any questions, such as our new legal council Jodi Bauer, who's husband is Paul Josephson, who is and has been the top attorney for the NJ Democrat Committee for the past 20 years or so.

I look forward to seeing everyone again, perhaps until a judgeship position comes my way courtesy of the NJ state democrat committee for all of the hard work we did.

I remember last year, people stopped supporting the MCRC when Lisa went against Kelly over personal issues. A county organization has no business being so involved in a municipal issue. She is wrong on multiple levels, especially bucking the duly elected sitting mayor, who clobbered her appointed primary opponent by perhaps an unpresidented 2 to 1 margin. Richford does not realise that the primary voters decides who the party stands behind. I fact chected the democrat influence within the MCRC and it is a discrace.
